Tomorrow the college football top 4 teams are coming out. It’s one of my favorite days of the year, to be honest. The amount of fans lashing out in pure anger is amazing. Everyone believes their team should be in the college football playoffs. Guess what guys? It doesn’t matter.

Unless your team is Alabama, it really doesn’t matter at all. They are so good this year my hate for them is overcome by curiosity. I want to see just how easy they make this look. I want to see other fan bases lose their minds over the thought of their team beating the mighty Bama…just to have their dreams crushed in the first 5 minutes of the game. I want to then see them rally for a second-half comeback just to watch Nick Saban scream at his DB for being out of position, even though he intercepted the ball and ran it all the way back.

But…but…but…(insert team) has a really explosive offense and when they get goi…let me just stop you. The coach of Tennessee(go vols), Jeremy Pruitt, who was the DC for Alabama last year said: “ they literally have to try and not put up 100 every game.” He knows their coaching staff and players very well. Does (insert team) have to hold back and take their starting QB after the third quarter every single game? No. But…(insert team) has lockdown defense and…shhh. Bama has a better defense. I promise.

I think it’s time we all just focus on our own teams. Just focus on winning as many games as you can and maybe getting a bowl game. If your team gets inside the top 4, I’m so sorry. In fact, we should celebrate the one team inside the top 4 that doesn’t have to play Bama. You did it! You avoided national embarrassment, by losing in the first round to a 2 or 3 seed. Congrats, now you get to sit back and watch some other fan base get their soul ripped out.

College football season is the best season in my opinion. Bama has ruined it somewhat. I’ve now become the worst kind of fan. My team has put me through hell and back. I’m worn down and beaten. You can’t hurt me worse than I’ve already been hurt. Your team and their misery is what I feed off of. So… I have that going for me I guess.
