The best time of the year starts now.

Congratulations everyone. It’s November 1, 2018, and we are officially entering into the season of joy. A season where dreams come true. Where songs are heard all across the land. A season where loved ones reunite and share moments they’ll never forget. A season that spills with laughter and sometimes even crying. A season that most look to every single year with a smile on their face and a twinkle in their eye. That’s right…it’s the season where basketball and football unite!

I don’t know about you but I’m very giddy just thinking about the next 3 months. Just about every night will present you with an opportunity to watch college basketball/football or NFL/NBA.

We’re in the thick of college football where things are about to get interesting. Teams are showing who they really are. Rivalries are raging with intensity. Bowl hopes are within reach. Every Saturday could be the biggest Saturday of the year. It’s so beautiful.

College basketball is finally here, which means a few nights a week, there will most likely be a matchup that we’ll need to tune into so that in February we can fill out our brackets in complete confidence knowing that one game in November told us all we need to know.

The NBA is starting to roll. We’re seeing some interesting things from certain teams while seeing some very predictable things from others. The drama is back and so are the GOAT debates…every weekday morning on Sportscenter.

The NFL is making a case for the most unpredictable of the four. Much like my fantasy team, week to week is a mystery, yet one thing stands true…Patrick Mahomes is going to wreck someone’s defense. Sunday’s are becoming a beautiful mystery and it’s sweet music to my ears.

As we begin this season, let’s put aside our differences and relish in the fact that the season of hope is upon us. Let’s love and cherish every moment. Let’s wake up every morning and scroll through the games that will be aired that night with a tear in our eye, and a quivering “thank you” in our voice.
